We are nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, less than three miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, in beautiful Nelson County VA. We offer authentic log cabin and cozy cottage rentals, camping of all types, a five acre lake, fee-based trout fishing pond, and a unique country store that’s been here since 1894.

Route 56, which winds and climbs up to the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Montebello, was once an old Indian trail that connected present-day Nelson County with Steele’s Tavern in Augusta County two hundred years ago.
